Centre Pieces

Does anyone have any good ideas for table centre pieces?

Someone was wirting on here recently about some centre pieces consisting of large white feathers in tall glasses and since then I have been doing some research myself, but have struggled to find any centre pieces pictures that I have been inspired by. I am keeping it in theme to my dress and other trimmings, but wanted something special. Florists have been my best source of options, but nothing has inspired me. I had a thought though, what if I was to incorporate my table wedding favors to be part of your table centrepiece?

Sorry I haven't posted recently, I've taken a much needed vacation for one week and now it's back to wedding planning!! OK so I think the fish bowls with water and lilypads and fairy lights floating on top are REALLY cute! I wonder if you can get the water in different types of colours? So you can choose a colour water to match your theme!

We actually went to a wedding recently that had fishbowls as the centre piece with 2 Goldfish swimming around - it was actually pretty cute!

What did they do with the fish afterwards ? !! We went to another wedding with HUGE candle sticks in the centre of the table, they were awesome !!

OMG real fish?! That's really impressive!!! I just typed into google 'centre pieces' and it came up with that image in the images section. I really like that goldfish idea although too true....what the heck would you do with the goldfish?!

I love the idea of big tall feathers in like a casino style too!

Just joined nuptales and loving it!! So many good tips....

Loving the fish bowl idea...unique and fun! My friend got married near Christmas time a few years back and had mini Christmas trees as their centre piece. I've also seen the use of different sized candles on top of a mirror...very effective. I'm not at this stage yet...but this has teased me little...am off searching on google!!

Centre pieces are stressing me out!!!

I'm trying to think of different ideas, what do you think of this? The pictures not very good but i thought with a few more rose petals to suit my colours it might look good??

That pic is lovely with the candles and petals. Very romantic looking.

I've seen some with mirrors in the middle of the table and vases with flowers in on top...some scattered crystals around the mirror to add sparkle. Looks effective.

Fish bowl idea is great...but I'd be worried about where they'd end up diring the celebrations later!

Just saw some lovely centre pieces in a friend of a friend's wedding pics. She had large vases in the centre with a beautiful orchid in the water then floating candles on top. The vase sat on top of a mirror (I;m seeing this alot - i think becuase of the effect it gives) and then she had clear gems scattered around the mirror...very nice!

I think i'm finally there with my centre piece idea i've changed my mind every week but i love this:

Hey ladies, I thought of you all and this thread at the weekend, I was at a wedding at Perth Zoo, awesome destination to get married, check out these amazing centre pieces (taken from iphone so a little dark), coloured stones in the bottom, what do you think ?
